In the process, she made history as the first person of Honduran descent to win the title.But now Myla Hadley, who finished as runner-up to Boltinhouse, will take her crown instead.This news comes as posts allegedly from Boltinhouse resurfaced from 2017 to 2019.The NC Beat was the first outlet to obtain these posts, which they say came from a Sosa the Stallion X account owned by Boltinhouse.LOOK:Credit: Sosa the stallionIn another post, in December 2019, Boltinhouse allegedly bragged about her ‘toxicity.’It’s important to note that other outlets were unable to verify whether Boltinhouse wrote all these nasty things. Thus, it’s possible she is being falsely accused.But organizers at A-Blaize Productions, which serves as the executive producer and state license holder for the official Miss USA pageants in North Carolina, are not giving Boltinhouse the benefit of the doubt.They issued the following statement explaining why she would lose her title:This decision was not made lightly. It followed a thorough review of recently surfaced information and was based on the totality of the circumstances and our responsibility to preserve the integrity of the Miss North Carolina USA title and the values of our organization.As an organization entrusted with selecting and preparing women to represent our states on the national stage, we must uphold the standards and values that our titleholders agree to embrace when accepting the honor of wearing the crown.Thom Brodeur, the chairman of Miss USA, also addressed the decision to dethrone Boltinhouse in an Instagram message, saying the organization “does not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, nor language that strips any person of their dignity.”“A title here isn’t a trinket. It is a position of trust, extended by an organization and accepted by a woman who agrees to carry a standard in public,” he added. “When that standard is broken, the title cannot continue as though nothing happened.”Brodeur additionally claimed that the decision didn’t stem from a single bad moment, but rather from constant misconduct.‘What was brought to us was not a single moment; it reflected conduct over an extended period of time. That is why this outcome was reached, and I stand behind it without qualification,” he wrote.“State titleholders are recruited, vetted, and approved for competition at the state level.
