EUR/GBP short: fade the 0.86 retest, targets 0.851 / 0.842Euro vs. Great British PoundFX:EURGBPNambou_Signalsπ EUR/GBP short swing (1D) The setup π EUR/GBP fell from the late-June high near 0.8685 down to 0.8455 in mid-July. It's bounced since, but that bounce is running straight into the 0.8580/0.8600 shelf it broke on the way down. That's where I want to sell. Old support flips to resistance, so I'm fading the retest instead of chasing the lows. A daily close back above 0.8615 means the shelf is reclaimed and I'm out, simple as that. Why I like it π― Clean downtrend of lower highs from 0.8685 into the 0.8455 low. Entry sits right on the 0.858/0.860 broken shelf, now acting as resistance. 0.8585 is the recovery high too, so it doubles as a double-top rejection. Daily RSI rolled back under 50 and under its average, the bounce is fading. Tight invalidation above 0.8615, and it pays roughly 2R at TP1, near 5R at TP3. The fundamentals π This is euro versus pound, so Friday's US jobs number barely touches it. That's the whole point of the pick. No big EU or UK data lands before the entry, so the chart runs the show here. The plan π Entry: 0.8578 to 0.8600 (limit, waiting for the bounce into the shelf) Stop: 0.8625 TP1: 0.8515 (+0.9%) TP2: 0.8465 (+1.4%) TP3: 0.8420 (+2.0%) Invalidation: a daily close above 0.8615 kills it. It's a pending order, so if price never tags the zone it just voids, no harm done. Not financial advice. Trade your own plan and manage your risk.
