A king cobra and a python were found locked in a fight outside a house near the Gonouli forest office in West Champaran’s Valmiki Tiger Reserve. The residents were alerted by their pet dog’s continuous barking and found the two large snakes struggling near their home. A forest department team led by snake rescuer Murari Kumar later captured both reptiles and released them inside the forest.
