Chart wise, it is moving towards the gap closure so I will monitor it first before taking a LONG position if I want to. Who is the leader in Rare Earth? Google it - they are all found in the same country - CHINA !!! There are just too many sectors, sub-sectors, companies, ETFs, etc that one can diversify to protect themselves. Sometimes, over diversification may also pose its own problem- spreading oneself too thin resulting in taking too small a position on one sector ,example Tech sector. A 1000 shares on any of the Mag 7 stocks vs 100 shares can mean a lot of difference! Everyone investment strategy is different, some like to adopt Philip Fisher method - thinks he owns more than 1000 companies in his Hedge Fund days. Of course, your capital size matters a lot. Else, for the fun and exploration of it, it is not a bad idea to spread a little.......... Please DYODD
