So many people I love live far away and I can't be with them at Christmas. A video call is nice but it's one evening and then it's over. I wanted them to feel I was around for the whole month, even a little bit. So I built this. It's a small house with 24 doors and you put something behind each one. A note, a photo, a joke, a memory. Then you send them a link. From 1 December one door opens every day at midnight in their time zone, up to the 24th. They don't install anything or make an account, it's just a web page. You also don't have to finish all 24 before sending, you can send it now and fill or change doors later from a private edit link. If they open it late, the doors they missed are just waiting for them. Each house also gets its own little plot on a shared village map, so yours sits there next to everyone else's. It's €4.99 per house, paid once. No ads or tracking cookies, and houses get deleted on 30 June. It's only me working on it and this is its first Christmas, so it's probably rough somewhere.
