Hey, I'm 28 and from Michigan. I'm looking to meet someone who genuinely wants a serious relationship. I'd prefer someone in the Eastern Time Zone because I want something that can eventually turn into an in person relationship instead of just talking online forever. Other U.S. time zones aren't a deal breaker though. If we really click, I'm sure we can figure something out. A little about me, I'm 5'10", work full time, have my own car, and I'm trying to build a stable future for myself. I'm usually pretty quiet at first, but once I get comfortable with someone I open up a lot more. I enjoy road trips, going to zoos and aquariums, watching movies, and honestly just staying home and relaxing with someone I care about. I'm also really into horror movies, spooky season, and creepy stuff in general. I'm an extremely picky eater, so I usually stick with foods I already know I like, but I still enjoy going out to eat and spending time together. When I care about someone, I care a lot. I'm a pretty affectionate person and loyalty, honesty, consistency, and communication are extremely important to me. I'm also a very straightforward person. I'd rather be honest about how I feel and what I want than leave someone guessing. I don't believe in playing games, sending mixed signals, or pretending I don't care when I do. Consistency and honesty are probably two of the biggest things I look for in someone. I don't expect anyone to be available every second of the day, but I do want someone whose words actually match their actions. If you say you care about someone, I believe you should show it. I'd much rather have someone tell me the truth, even if it's something I don't necessarily want to hear, than be left wondering where I stand. I want a relationship where we can trust each other, communicate openly, and never have to question whether the other person actually wants to be there. I'm not looking for someone to talk to for a few days just for them to disappear. I want to actually get to know someone and hopefully build something meaningful together. I also absolutely love clingy. Seriously, if you're the type who wants to text throughout the day, spend a lot of time together, want attention, and love being close to your partner, that's a huge plus for me. I love giving attention and affection just as much as I enjoy receiving it. I want someone who makes it obvious that they want me around. As far as relationship dynamics go, I naturally like taking the lead and would prefer someone who's comfortable with that. I love someone who's affectionate, maybe a little shy, and enjoys being cared for and having someone who makes them feel safe and wanted. Obviously, I still believe in mutual respect, communication, and both people putting in effort. It's just the kind of dynamic I'm most attracted to. Long term, I'd love to own a home, travel and experience things with my partner, build a stable life together, and possibly have a family someday. I don't expect anyone to be perfect because I'm definitely not either. I just want someone who's kind, affectionate, emotionally available, loyal, and genuinely wants to build a future together. I also want to be upfront that I've been divorced before. It's part of my past and something I've learned from. If that's a deal breaker for you, I'd rather be upfront about it now. I'm not expecting to immediately fall in love with someone or know we're right for each other after a few conversations.
