My coworker (who I really like) is mad at me and is acting pretty petty since this last shift together where I was completely ignored. Long story short. Last week, she texted me at 3pm asking if I worked that night. (We work NOC shift 6pm-630am) I told her I worked that night, and she responded that she also did but was getting reduced at 10:30 due to working 72 hours straight. I asked if she could cover my overnight in exchange to leaving at 10:30 because I wasn’t feeling great. She declined due to whatever. 6PM comes around we both clock in together. She gets pulled to another floor (likely because of being reduced and we work on a 2 nurse floor) 9PM rolls around, I’m feeling like absolute s***. I call the scheduling department, and also confirmed a fever at 99.9. Scheduling told me I could leave and the result was that same coworker having to stay overnight. I didn’t know this until she texted me and when I explained I didn’t feel well, and that I was sorry she didn’t respond. I worked with her yesterday and she’s been ignoring me like the plague.
