Hey everyone. I started my nursing career in med surg for a year and then I went into the ICU for the past three years. My entire goal was to become a CRNA. I’ve been applying for the past year, I get interviews, and I always get waitlisted. It’s been a difficult journey, and it’s also been expensive since I’ve taken classes, certifications, etc. I’m starting to get burnt out from applying. I’ve had a couple friends get in, they suggest I stop applying since it hasn’t happened for me. I’m now seriously considering a different route to go. I’m also 27 and getting older so the idea of pushing back school even more is nauseating. I’ve been thinking about NP school too. Is there anyone who was in a similar situation? What did you end up pursing? I just feel so embarrassed continuing to apply when I’m struggling so hard to get in. submitted by /u/KindFlamingo8261 [link] [comments]
