https://reddit.com/link/1xodfca/video/evlu1rzr7rzh1/player Last spring we tried to plan a week away. Seven of us. Everyone said “I’m in”, nobody said where. Someone proposed Lisbon, someone Budapest, a third person said “anything works” (it never does), and around message 200 it died quietly. So I made a small app. Everyone proposes places, everyone gets 10 points to put where they like, and a wheel picks the winner, weighted by the points. You can also vote in secret, so the loudest friend doesn’t decide for everyone. It’s free, no ads. It’s called Roamie and it works in the browser, but the Android version is stuck in closed testing. Google wants 12 people using it for 14 days and the first round didn’t count, so I’m doing it again properly. The only thing I’m asking: if you’ve got a trip with friends coming up in the next few weeks, try deciding it with this instead of the group chat. Tell me what got in the way. That’s the whole job. Android + a Gmail account, DM me and I’ll send the invite. Or just try it first: roamie.org submitted by /u/PaulCodio120 [link] [comments]
