I’m building a Windows file manager called Max Commander

Wait 5 sec.

Hey, I’m Max. I’m the solo developer behind Max Commander, a dual-pane file manager for Windows. I still like the classic Commander way of working. Two panels, keyboard shortcuts, knowing where things are going. So that’s the starting point. But I also wanted it to understand a bit more about what’s in those folders. Git status when you’re in a repo, previews for code and documents, media details. File context is probably the best way to describe it. Still working on how far to take that. There’s a free version, no account needed. Some extra tools are in Pro, which is a one-time purchase. Processing video n0d4z0fidizh1... Curious what you think, especially if you already use another file manager. What would make you even consider switching? Website / download submitted by /u/maxi_gmv [link] [comments]
