In the 2026 midterms, Democratic candidates saw increased support from various demographic groups, including young and Hispanic voters. Young voters under 30 mostly supported Democratic candidates compared to their previous split in 2024. Hispanic voters shifted back to Democrats, particularly evident in the Texas Senate race. Black voters, especially Black men, also returned to support Democrats after previously backing Trump.
