Tottenham Hotspur have been handed an injury boost ahead of their clash with Leeds United, with three of Daniel Farke’s players marked as doubts for the weekend, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin.Spurs will head into their clash with Leeds United at Elland Road this weekend full of confidence as they look to secure a fourth straight Premier League win and continue their climb up the table.A victory on Saturday will be enough to lift Roberto De Zerbi’s side, who sit ninth, into the European places ahead of the November international break, which will do Spurs’ confidence a lot of good heading into their festive fixtures once football returns. But Leeds will be far from straightforward opponents, as Daniel Farke will be hoping his side can turn their poor run of form around in front of their home support this weekend.Leeds are winless in their last five league outings, picking up just three points in that time. However, despite their poor run of form, they remain just a single point behind Tottenham.Photo by SpursWebTottenham handed boost as Daniel Farke confirms Leeds injury doubtsAhead of Saturday’s clash, Spurs have been handed something of a boost, with a few Leeds players a doubt.Speaking to the official Leeds United website, Farke revealed that attacking midfielder Anton Stach, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are not yet in the clear to feature at the weekend as they await late fitness tests. However, there was some positive news, with former Spurs man Joe Rodon now back in contention.Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Farke said: “Some mixed news during this week. Good news with Joe Rodon, he is back in full team training during this week.“Of course he was out for quite a time but it is definitely good because he is an important player for us and, yeah, back in training.“In the offence we still are struggling a little bit. Noah Okafor obviously missed the last game due to some adductor problems.“He was also not able to have one team training session during this week so far, just individual work for him. So, I can’t really say if he is available for the game. We have two more days anyhow but so far he has not joined us in team training.“The same for Anton Stach with foot problems. Just individual rehab work was possible, so major doubts then both if they are available. With Anton and Noah we have to see.“Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a little setback with his foot as well, was not able to train with us today but I would say I am carefully optimistic that he is back in training hopefully tomorrow and then he would also be available.”Spurs injury news ahead of Leeds tripSpurs, on the other hand, have more positive news on the injury front, with a few of their injured stars back in contention.James Maddison, who was an unused substitute last weekend following his injury against Chelsea, should be back in the mix for Tottenham as De Zerbi’s side look to keep their winning run going.Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are also back as options for Spurs, having recovered from their respective knocks.Meanwhile, there remains a slim chance that Savio features, with the Brazilian having been spotted at Hotspur Way this week.Rodrigo Bentancur is also back, having completed his three-match ban. These boosts should leave De Zerbi with more options as he chases a victory over Leeds this weekend.READ MORE: Tottenham retain matching rights clause for Harry Kane despite new Bayern contractThe post Leeds could be without three key players vs Tottenham, including Calvert-Lewin appeared first on Spurs Web.
