"I think with the last time we spoke, I probably said something along the lines of, I just want to go out there and show what I can do, and I feel like over these past few months, I've had the capability to do that. I think that we're gonna be looking at even more opportunity coming this Saturday when I wrestle Yota. I mean, I couldn't ask for a better opportunity, right? The IWGP heavyweight champion. I'm looking at this match like kind of like a job interview, right? And, what a way to, what a way to try to start it out."Lee was the one who called out Tsuji for this match at one of MLW’s biggest shows of the year.MLW'S COURT BAUER TOUTS 'HUGE YEAR' FOR COMPANY AMID MEDIA DEALS, SPLASH MOVESTsuji is a two-time IWGP heavyweight champion, two-time IWGP global heavyweight champion and has held the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship one-time each. The stakes are as high as they could be going into this match."I wanna show that I'm ready for that opportunity and if we're gonna bring these guys in and we're gonna highlight these guys as being the top guys that they truly are, Yota is the top of the top at New Japan," he continued. "So, if he's gonna come over here and he's gonna ask for a fight, then, you know, I'm looking for an opportunity. And I told you that right the last time we spoke, that I'm just wanting opportunities and what bigger opportunity."Tsuji already has a cast of wrestlers gunning for his title.
