/u/yeeet1234 on I want yoga pants but only natural fibers. Same person that insists on organic or grass fed for “allergies.”

Wait 5 sec.

I’m so annoyed that natural fibers are considered a luxury in 2026 now. In the early 2000’s having cotton clothing (when appropriate to the garment and its use) was the standard, expected, and demanded. It’s crazy how even some luxury, high-end, and designer brands are selling $400 sweaters and they’re made of 40-100% polyester and polyester based materials. Insanity honestly. It’s slowly becoming more known that polyester is truly not good for you amd over time these materials are sitting on your body almost every second of the day besides activities that require being nude and the chemicals in these fibers can and do get into your body and could/might affect organ function, be carcinogenic and lead to disease, and affect overall wellness. It’s really not a bizzare concept to think polyester could cause allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, and hives. Not to mention that people with autoimmune disorders have very finicky skin in some cases and many things cause more inflammation in their bodies.
