Hey everyone, For the past few months 3 of us have been building Stock Meadow (stockmeadow.com), a stock research tool for people who want to see why a stock scores the way it does instead of trusting a black-box rating. It scores about 3,000 US stocks with nine adjustable models (value, quality, momentum and more), shows exactly which metrics drive each score, and lets you backtest any model over up to 20 years of history. Every model weight can be adjusted. Around that I added stock and ETF screeners, a portfolio builder and optimizer, Congress and insider trade trackers, earnings calendars and an economy dashboard. A lot of the work went into the data side: companies' reported earnings are checked against their own SEC filings, so the numbers are ones you can trust. On the front end there is no AI for the user and no AI to create the results, it's all based on mathematical models in finance that analysts have been doing manually in Excel. AI is used to read 8-k and 10-q filings to make sure we have the most accurate information. We're currently at 70 users as of today. Give me your honest opinions. submitted by /u/domainmaker [link] [comments]
