Need help completing my folders system for PS5

Wait 5 sec.

I've finished the development of the folders system, and I've almost got everything working. The only thing left is figuring out how to hide the other games and apps from the home screen without removing them from their Gamelists. I've already tried: Lineup HomeHider and PSGFX Editing app.db The problem is that every hiding method I've tried also makes the hidden apps disappear from their native Gamelists. This completely defeats the purpose of my folder system, since the folders themselves rely on native PS5 Gamelists to display and access their contents. If hiding a game also removes it from its Gamelist, the folder essentially becomes useless. Ideally, I just want the home screen to display my folders shortcuts while keeping every other installed game accessible inside its assigned Gamelist. I only need a way to either: Hide games from the home row without affecting their Gamelist visibility. Limit the number of displayed home-screen tiles, leaving the underlying games and Gamelists untouched. Does anyone know if this is technically possible? Maybe through a ShellUI/HomeUI patch, a specific database flag, or another approach I haven't tried? If anyone familiar with PS5 home-screen modifications or the internal Gamelist system could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. This is literally the last thing I need to finish the project. submitted by /u/332Ryze [link] [comments]
