I built a temp email service so my coding agent can check its own inbox

Wait 5 sec.

“Check your email” is an awkward place for a signup test to end. I want to know if a new user can actually get into the app, and copying a code from my inbox back into the agent chat is a step I’d happily skip. That’s what I built TempMailboxes for. It has an MCP connection, so I can ask a coding agent to create a private inbox and use that address to sign up on my staging site. The agent can wait for the email, read the code, enter it, and tell me whether it got in. It can also read the rest of the email and open attachments. So if I change a receipt template, for example, I can ask it to check the total on the receipt. When it’s done, it can delete that message or the whole inbox. You can try a shared inbox for free without an account. The private inboxes and MCP connection are on the paid Developer plans.
