Sir Mark Prescott's Consent (Lope De Vega) is aiming for a first win of the season in Saturday's G1 Grosser Allianz Preis von Bayern in Germany. The Munich Group 1, which has also attracted the Owen Burrows-trained Gethin (Ghaiyyath), was won by George Scott's Bay City Roller 12 months ago.Consent ended last season as a winner of the G1 Prix de Royallieu on Arc weekend, and she was second in the G1 Prix Royal-Oak this autumn.Prescott said, “She's on her way to Germany and she runs in the Group 1 in Munich on Saturday.“It's a very quick turnaround but Amelia Earhart, who ran in the same race [Royal-Oak], won the Group 3 at the Curragh on Sunday. She didn't have to travel to Germany to do it of course, but it's obviously a quick turnaround for both of them and I hope I do as well as Aidan [O'Brien] anyway!”When asked whether Consent would be retired after this weekend's race, the trainer added, “I don't know, I think Prince Faisal [of owners Denford Stud] is half-minded to keep her in training as a five-year-old. I suspect it might depend on how we get on on Saturday.”The post Consent Aiming For Grosser Allianz Preis Von Bayern appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
