Martin Odegaard has been linked with a potential move to Bayern Munich, with the Arsenal captain being advised to consider joining the German giants if an opportunity arises. The Norwegian has established himself as one of the most important players in Mikel Arteta’s squad. He wears the captain’s armband at Arsenal and also leads his country’s national team, underlining his importance at both club and international level.Arsenal have no intention of selling Odegaard or any of their key players, meaning Bayern would face a difficult task if they wanted to bring him to the Bundesliga. The midfielder also appears happy in North London, having produced several impressive performances since becoming an important part of the team. However, reports suggest he could be open to considering a move to Bayern, one of Europe’s leading clubs. Eivind Bisgaard Sundet believes the switch would make sense for the Arsenal captain and has explained why he could benefit from the change.Bayern Munich viewed as a good fitOdegaard’s technical ability and creativity could make him an attractive option for Bayern, particularly given the style of football the German side plays. His ability to influence possession and create opportunities would potentially suit a team that often dominates its domestic matches. There is also the possibility that a move to Germany could offer the midfielder a different physical and competitive schedule compared with the Premier League. Sundet believes those factors could make Bayern an appealing destination if Odegaard ever decides to leave Arsenal.Martin Odegaard v Brentford. Playing in German football is a bit less gruelling than in English football. There are slightly fewer matches, you get more time to recover, and Bayern are a more dominant side than Arsenal are in England. You’d have more possession.”Sundet clearly sees Bayern as a club where Odegaard could remain influential while benefiting from a different style of football and schedule. Nevertheless, Arsenal will be keen to retain their captain, and any potential move would depend on whether the midfielder genuinely wants a new challenge._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
