Yes, we deserved to lose.Part 2- Our TV ads were weak, useless, pathetic, and stupid. You either stand for something, or you get run over. We stood for nothing, and got run over.Part 3- How American voters voted over the issue of “affordability”- and tragically, just made everything far worse and more expensive.Part 4- How Democrats stole the election with open borders and mail-in ballots- and how President Trump and the GOP could have stopped this scam dead in its tracks.Part 5- How Democrats have achieved a pyrrhic victory. They won a landslide- but have no power. And they may have just handed 2028 to GOP.First, I want to say, “We failed.” This landslide defeat was both earned and deserved by the GOP. No excuses. We fu**ked up.But before I get into all the mistakes and failures of the GOP, I want to also say, “We was robbed.” This election was also stolen- with a game plan that is so obvious, you’d have to be blind, deaf and really dumb not to see it.It was stolen the exact same way Democrats stole California. Democrats turned California from a red state…maybe America’s reddest state…the land of Reagan and Nixon and Pete Wilson…to a 100% blue state…with open borders and illegal immigration. That was their weapon. That was their #1 tool in the toolshed. The plan has a name: “Cloward-Piven.” I learned it at Columbia University.Radical California Democrats waved in millions of illegals…completely changed the demographics of the California electorate…registered them all to vote…”weaponized” them by giving them $100,000 a year in welfare, food stamps, free healthcare, free public schools, free college, and handouts of all kinds…and promising to protect them from ICE and deportation- as long as they voted Democrat…and then rigged all future elections with mail-in ballots- with no ID or proof of citizenship ever required. The rest is history. No Republican will ever again be elected to higher office in California. FACT.This is exactly what Democrats are doing to America. They are implementing the exact same plan.You saw the results last night. Millions and millions of foreigners and non-citizens (ie illegal aliens) voted last night- most of them via mail-in ballots.They voted in their own self-interest. They voted for the welfare checks, and food stamps, and free healthcare to keep coming- all provided by Democrats.They voted to end capitalism and turn America into a socialist welfare state- exactly like the third-world sh**tholes they came from.And they voted to stop deportations. Because they like it here. Why not? Democrats give them whatever they want. And if they vote in Democrats, they’ll never have to go home.I’ll get to the actual details of all of that, and how we could have stopped that, later this week.But today I’m going to tell you how we defeated ourselves.Today I’m going to look at our mistakes. Our stupid decisions. The failures of President Trump and our Republican Party. It’s time for self-reflection.Because Democrats may have stolen it, but we also fu**ked up. We gave them the opening. The Democrats may be evil, demonic, crazy, communist scammers, but still, we did this to ourselves. In many ways, we deserved to lose.Let me list just a few of the mistakes… First on the list is the GOP Senate. I’ve branded it for many months now as “the Do-Nothing GOP Senate.” They literally did nothing, produced nothing, passed nothing.How could we control all levels of government- Presidency, House, Senate and Supreme Court and pass literally nothing? It’s almost impossible. And then Republicans wonder why we lost? What exactly did you do for the American people? You literally wasted two years.Second, one of the things you never passed was “the SAVE America Act.” Huge majorities of Americans support it. Here in Nevada, the GOP was just wiped out. We lost every major office. It was a disaster.Yet the ballot initiative for Voter ID passed. For the second time. With 62.3% of the vote. Over 62% of people who voted for a Democrat landslide still voted for Voter ID. That’s how popular it is. In Nevada, Voter ID is now the law of the land.Yet the GOP had control of both Houses of Congress for two years and could not pass it? The GOP Senate should be ashamed. Voter ID and proof of citizenship might have dramatically changed last night’s results. It certainly would not have hurt. It certainly would have excited and motivated MAGA voters. Instead, your pathetic inaction demoralized them.Now to the one thing the GOP Congress did pass. You passed the Big Beautiful Bill. Guess what? Most Americans did not feel it lived up to its billing. I am the guy who actually invented both “No Tax on Social Security” and “No Tax on OT.”President Trump and the GOP keep saying how wonderful these are. Except for one little problem- what was passed is not so wonderful.Since I invented “No Tax on Social Security” I’m qualified to tell you what it means. It means “No Tax on Social Security.” Literally. It does not mean a $6,000 deduction for some seniors, and nothing for the rest. You butchered my idea. Seniors know the difference.You did NOT give them “No Tax on SS” so please stop saying you did. You gave some seniors a deduction that resulted in a very slight tax cut. That’s it.The point of “No Tax on SS” is that seniors paid into SS their entire lives. They waited 40 years to get that money back, with no interest, so why would they have to pay tax when they slowly get their own money back, 40+ years later, with no interest?They should not have to pay any taxes. But the GOP version of “No Tax on SS” is nothing like my idea. It’s a shell of what I invented. The name is a misnomer. Seniors are pissed- and they should be. You never gave them “No Tax on SS.” I know it. They know it.How about “No Tax on OT.” Also butchered. Again, you watered this idea down to almost nothing. We act like we gave workers “No Tax on OT.” But we didn’t. And they know the difference.We didn’t campaign on “No Tax on OT- up to $12,500, but the same taxes on all the rest.” We would not have won with that slogan. We never said it would be limited to only $12,500 of income. That’s pathetic. The workers and voters know that. They feel scammed and betrayed. But no one in the GOP wants to admit that.Now to President Trump. Because he has to accept blame for last night too.Two things lost this election- besides millions of non-citizens voting by mail-in ballot. The Iran war and inflation.Forget about the idea of never fighting the Iran war in the first place. Let’s put that aside.Where were the TV fireside chats to explain the Iran war? Why didn’t you tell the American people in detail why we went in, and what was at stake, and what was the plan, and how was it going? Where were the weekly updates? If you had done just that, we would not be sitting here looking at a landslide defeat.But there was NEVER one fireside chat to explain the war. Not one. The American people forgive a lot of things- if you involve them in the process.If you had weekly fireside chats to keep the American people in the loop, and nonstop televised town halls, this election would have turned out very differently. The American people matter. They want to know what’s happening, and why. They want to be heard. They want their say. They want to be part of major decisions. They don’t want to be ruled over, and ignored, and powerless.The truth is, you kept us all in the dark. Now to the big one. James Carville coined the phrase, “It’s the economy, stupid.” This never changes- it ALWAYS determines every election. The people vote based on their pocketbooks and bank accounts.President Trump did 1,000 great things for the economy. In many ways, the economy is booming. But only for wealthy Americans. Not for the middle class. But the average American isn’t a major stock investor, or “crypto bro.”The average American is hurting. They don’t see much difference between this Trump economy and the Biden economy. Like it, or not, that’s the bitter truth.The rate of inflation is low- President Trump is right. But the American people don’t see that. They only see high prices. There is a difference. President Trump needed to explain that to the American people. And explain what he was doing to bring those prices down. That never happened.Once again, I’d argue weekly fireside chats and town halls would have changed everything. Explain things to the American people. Include the American people. “What’s the plan?” Tell them.To the average American, all that matters is gas prices, groceries, restaurant prices, health insurance, car insurance, home insurance and electric bills. All of those bills are sky-high. Average Americans are struggling. That’s all they see, and feel, and understand.They elected you to solve that problem. They threw Joe Biden out because he made it all much worse. They feel that you did nothing to make it better.You lost your focus on “America First.” That was the point- first, before anything else, give the middle class back their quality of life. Make those prices go down. Make middle-class America livable again.And speak directly to the people every week. Tell them exactly what you’re doing to make their lives better. Give people hope.But if you ignore the people, keep them in the dark, and they don’t see any difference in the prices, they will vote you out.President Trump ignored all of that. He focused on the world. On solving wars in places no one cares about. On fighting Iran. On NATO. On China. On Ukraine. And yes, on Israel.But what about average Americans? He forgot about them. Or at least, that’s how they feel.Here is what they care about. They care about their job, paycheck, pocketbook, and their bills- inflation, the price of everything they buy. If they feel miserable, if they can’t pay their bills, if they can’t afford to eat out anymore, if they can’t afford health insurance, if they can’t afford to send their kid to college, they don’t care about the rest of the world.Like it or not, that is your job as president. Period. America First. America second. America third. The Economy. The prices. The pocketbooks.It’s the economy, stupid.You were just reminded of that.
