Hi all, I'm a dad with a day job, and I like to build things on the side just to see if I can. Every time I've launched something, I've hit the same wall, launch sites and directories where the paid spots get seen and everything else sinks within hours, and the feedback is usually just nice work! So I built UpstartRadar (upstartradar.com): a free community directory for startups where creators list projects, ask for the specific help they need, and earn visibility through engagement, never payment. How it works: - List your project in about a minute. Paste your website and it fills in the name, tagline and logo. New launches, relaunches, and projects that have been online a while and need a boost are all welcome. - Ask for the help you actually want, such as "feedback on my pricing page" or "is my landing page clear?" - Scouts back projects they believe in and give feedback. Backing early and leaving useful comments earns reputation and credits. - Credits are the only way to get featured. There's no paid placement, at all. A few things I care about: - It's free, and listings are checked manually. - Approved projects get a dofollow link to their site, with no badge required. - Your listing doubles as a launch kit: your taglines, descriptions and images, ready to copy into other launch sites. There's also a list of other launch sites with the facts people ask about (cost, dofollow or not, badge needed). - Creators see their own stats: views, clicks and where visitors came from. It's brand new, so it's small, and I'd genuinely love feedback: what's confusing, what's missing, what you'd change. The first 100 members are Founding Members, which comes with a heap of additional features If you list something, I'll personally look at it and leave real feedback over the next few days. Thanks for reading. submitted by /u/CardiologistFun8185 [link] [comments]
