I haven't watched WWE since 2022. If you're already disagreeing with my title because you know of better matches from the last few years, keep in mind that I’ve been out of the loop for a while. The last time I tuned into RAW was in 2022, I was so bored out of my mind that I walked away from wrestling entirely. On a whim, since WWE is on Netflix now, I decided to check out the November 2nd episode. I was pleasantly surprised to get a pay-per-view quality match on free TV. The last time I've ever seen a PPV-quality match on free TV was Booker T vs Kurt Angle for the WCW Championship, and I gotta say, Chad Gable has improved so much since the last time I saw him. It seems like he has adopted Kurt Angle’s moveset, which is cool to see since Kurt is my favorite wrestler, and this was my first time ever seeing Ethan Page wrestle (call me ignorant of the wider wrestling world if you want), and he is impressive. The only major downside for me was the commentary. The current announce team of Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett was boring compared to the likes of Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole and Tazz.   submitted by   /u/ardouronerous [link]   [comments]
