Solo-built a Shopify alternative for Facebook sellers in Bangladesh: 231 stores live, flat pricing, no per-order fees

Wait 5 sec.

Hi everyone, I’ve been building StoreKoo (storekoo.com), a multi-tenant ecommerce platform where anyone can create an online store on their own subdomain, no coding needed. Why I built it Many small sellers in Bangladesh run their business through Facebook pages and DMs. Existing store builders either charge per-order fees, require a paid plan after a short trial, or lack local payments and couriers. What it does today Create a store with your own subdomain, free themes, and inventory management Local payments: manual bKash/Nagad (StoreKoo Pay), plus SSLCommerz, ShurjoPay, and AamarPay Courier integrations: Pathao, CarryBee, SteadFast Staff Accounts : Pro users will get Staff Accounts Business analytics, coupons, goals/targets, and an AI product description generator Free plan (25 products, 120 orders/month) and Pro at ৳399/month (~$3) with a custom domain, premium themes, advanced reports, and visitor analytics No per-order fees Stack: Next.js + NestJS, shadcn/ui, deployed with Coolify on a VPS. Traction so far 237 users, 231 stores created, 431 products added Growth came from organic posting in Facebook groups, short demo Reels, and a first Facebook ad (about ৳445 spent, 9 signups) No paid users yet, so I’m now working on getting stores to add more products and get their first orders I’d love feedback on: Is the landing page clear within 10 seconds? What would push a small seller to upgrade from free to Pro? I’m considering expanding beyond Bangladesh to South Asia. Does that make sense? Happy to answer anything about the build, the marketing, or the technical side. Link: https://storekoo.com submitted by /u/iamabthahi [link] [comments]
