Hey its me again bringing another freezing cold take after another dive into ECW but Joel Gertner is severally slept on when people talk about wrestling's best talkers. Sure his main job was to be The Dudley's personal ring announcer and get heat with his obnoxiously long intros and filthly limmericks but I"ve been watching all of the promos and intros of his I can find on Youtube and damn if I'm not entertained by every one of them. The guy had a knack for making you laugh all while presenting The Dudley Boyz as absolute world beaters every time. I know he didn't have much of a career outside of ECW because you couldn't really do the crude poems on WWE/TNA TV but I just wanna give the guy his flowers.
