Short backstory: my girlfriend cheated on me. She was also making a lot of money running an e-invite platform, selling designs that cost almost nothing to make. So, mostly out of spite and partly for fun, I built my own and made it free for everyone. That's FreeUtsav: a free e-invitation maker for any occasion. There are Western ones like Christmas parties, save the dates, anniversaries, milestone and themed kids' birthdays, modern baby showers, housewarmings and cocktail nights. There are also Indian ones like weddings, Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, naming ceremonies, pujas, Diwali, Holi and Eid. There are 87 original designs in English or Hindi, with no watermarks, plus a free invite website and a short video invite, all made in your browser. It started as a revenge project and turned into something I actually care about.
