I'm planning to upgrade my television and have been comparing regular LED, QLED and OLED options. The price difference between these technologies can be quite significant, so I'm wondering how noticeable the improvement actually is during everyday use. Most of my usage would be OTT platforms, movies, YouTube and occasional sports. I don't do much gaming, so I'm not sure whether paying extra for a higher refresh rate makes sense. I've also noticed that brands advertise HDR10, Dolby Vision and various picture enhancement technologies, but it's difficult to understand how much these specifications affect the actual viewing experience. For people who've recently purchased a TV, what would you prioritise: panel technology, brightness, refresh rate or the overall software experience? Is visiting a store to compare displays still worth doing before ordering online? submitted by /u/aphroditious to r/Electronicsinindia [link] [comments]
