I have been looking for a decent model with similar or comparable capabilities to Qwen 3.8 27B that better matches my needs. Don't get me wrong, I love Qwen 3.8. It is just a bit too heavy for my hardware, and sometimes I need a faster model for lighter tasks. That is all. After reading a recommendation from another user, I decided to give IsValorum/Tiel-Coder-35B-A3B-APEX-I-MiniPlus-V2.1-GGUF a try, and I fell in love with it almost immediately. It feels clever and performs really well overall, at least on par with Qwen 3.8 for my needs, but it is noticeably faster on my hardware. I am currently running it entirely on my GPU, with a 256K context and Kvarn8 cache level. Here are my hardware specs. -Ryzen 5 3600, 40 GB DDR4 3200 RAM, RX 7900 XT with 20 GB VRAM. -BeeLLama.cpp with Llama Swap I have also included my generation speeds. I am happy to share my configuration if anyone is interested. I would also appreciate recommendations for other models worth trying, especially anything I might have missed. I can share my Config if anyone need it, also I appreciate recommendations of any other model that exist out of my loop https://preview.redd.it/hpuvux0grozh1.png?width=1868&format=png&auto=webp&s=8da2670a3da9d33bcae64e0a6e747eb4fa0be3ab submitted by /u/zxspectrun [link] [comments]
