What it is: Solvance, a private journal for the meditation practice you already have, whatever app or teacher you use. You time or log a session, write a line, keep a short evening check-in, and Insights writes plain sentences about what's working, each labelled with how sure it is. You can import years of history (Insight Timer's export, any spreadsheet, journal exports) and see your times, lengths and streaks the same day. Who it's for: adults who already meditate and want to know what their practice is doing, not another library of guided sessions. The numbers, honestly: launched Oct 27. Since mid-October about 580 visitors, 39 of whom reached the sign-up page. Two real accounts that aren't me or my family. Zero paying. I ran a small Meta ads test; it brought clicks and no sign-ups, so I paused it. The one member who really used it found the site by asking a chatbot for a meditation journal, which I didn't expect. Business model: 14 days of the full plan free, no card. Then a free plan stays, or $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year (US only for now). Encrypted entries, no ads, no selling data. I'm a solo, non-technical founder, so I've kept the costs to roughly $200 a month. What I'm trying next: getting the iPhone and Android apps through the stores, and leading with the import ("bring your history, see your patterns today") instead of asking cold visitors to imagine a benefit that arrives after weeks. One ask: if you've logged sessions anywhere for a year or more, what would make you move them? I'll answer everything. Disclosure: I'm the person behind Solvance. https://www.solvance-app.com/ submitted by /u/Reasonable_Take888 [link] [comments]
