Luca Williams-Barnett has been extremely impressed by one of Tottenham’s big-money summer signings. While Williams-Barnett appeared to be Spurs’ best-kept secret over the last couple of years, it only took a six-minute cameo for the attacker to become one of the most talked-about players in England. The expectations from the home crowd were high when the 18-year-old came on in the 87th minute against Crystal Palace on Sunday, and he did not disappoint.Just two minutes after coming on, Williams-Barnett went on a brilliant maze run where he went past three Palace players and picked out Mohammed Kudus, but the Ghanaian could not get his feet adjusted in time to top the ball into an empty net. That one moment was enough for Steven Gerrard to declare that the Spurs starlet is going to be a top player.Credit: oscar.visualss / InstagramLuca Williams-Barnett names Tottenham teammate Sandro Tonali as his toughest opponentThe 18-year-old is now exclusively training with the Tottenham first team.
