Me and my friend, based on our interactions with a few tutors, decided to build an app called TutorFlow to help tutors with their current workflow. The app is mainly designed to help with 2 sides of tutoring: Business side Student profiles Calendar & scheduling Attendance Payments Messages/reminders Intelligence side Keep track of each student's strengths, weaknesses and learning patterns Analyse lesson observations to identify gaps Generate personalised worksheets and practice Track assignments and concept mastery Show which students/topics may need more attention Generate progress reports for parents Use what it learns over time to help tutors decide what to focus on next The main idea is basically to have one place to run your tuition business while also keeping track of how every student is actually learning. We're still testing it and would really like feedback from actual tutors before we go any further with it. So if you're a private tutor, centre tutor, or run a tuition centre, would anyone be willing to test TutorFlow with a student or two and tell us what you like, dislike, or think is completely unnecessary? 😭 It's completely free for the pilot.
