Pasting a testimonial widget into your site feels outdated now. Widgets fight your CSS, load after the page so things jump around and show the same quotes on every page. What I do instead My coding agent already writes most of my site, so I connected it to my testimonials on testimoon.com through MCP server. Now I can just ask e.g. "Add 4 best testimonials for pricing pages about ROI". It searches all my testimonials, picks the ones that work best for a pricing page and adds them to the page as normal components in my own styles. No widget and the quotes are real ones from my customers, not made up (fake testimonials are the most disgusting thing). Setup takes a minute: copy the server URL from Testimoon, add it to Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code, then sign in and approve. The trade-off A widget updates itself when a new testimonial comes in. Quotes in your code don't. You re-run the prompt when you want fresh ones. I like that because I choose what goes on each page, but if you want a live feed of every new review, a widget is still the better tool. And for the boomers, Testimoon still has good old embed widgets 😂 submitted by /u/OldLie1102 [link] [comments]
