Cricut's print then cut feature wastes so much printable area. What do you do to maximize the area as much as possible

Wait 5 sec.

When I started crafting with Cricut it's print then cut feature frustrated me the most. Registration marks can't be read, cuts don't align properlt, and most of all too much waster material. After months of experimenting I was able to devise a hack that allows me to print then cut a full page with only a few millimeters on the sides wasted. what I do is set the print then cut size to a larger one, e.g. tabloid, A3. I use Microsoft print to PDF to print my design then import it to Affinity. the project size in Affinity is the same size of the sheet I will actually print on. I place the PDF right in the middle of the page with all the registration marks visible. After it prints, I cut the project following the standard print then cut procedure. Here's a video to demonstrate how I do it. https://youtu.be/fyX-bCNFAyI?si=Tyekcc4QcEXn79M- submitted by /u/Few-Perception-3798 to u/Few-Perception-3798 [link] [comments]
