No Agenda At Anfield? There have long been suggestions from a section of our fanbase that officials are corrupt and are part of a conspiracy to hurt Arsenal.Who’s leading that and why has never been answered. It can’t be because there is zero evidence of a ref being told to intentionally sabotage the Gunners from winning.Last season in the League, the Champions didn’t concede a red card or penalty. So if there is an agenda, it’s quite a rubbish one!Common sense says that if anyone is being paid to cost a team points, they would want their money back if no sending-offs or spot kicks are being awarded.I use financial gain as an example of an incentive because, again, no theory is being suggested as to why one club would be disliked.Yet no matter how far-fetched I think the conspiracy theory is, everyone is entitled to their opinion.Would I like facts to support their argument?Of course, yet they still have a right to their point of view.Should Arsenal Fans Be Consistent About Refereeing Decisions?I think, though, it’s only fair that these Gooners are consistent in their morals. If you don’t accept that decisions that go against the side you love could simply be human error, then shouldn’t you have the same energy when Mikel Arteta benefits from the same incompetence? On Sunday, it was clear that Timber tugged Isak’s shirt in the penalty area. Yet those in charge, both on and off the pitch, failed to award Liverpool a spot kick.If the same had happened to us at Anfield and that cost us a result, I would be hearing about where Andy Madley was born, who his family support, whether he has any mates who are Scousers, what colour his car is, etc.Shock, though, few supporters have suggested maybe there was a bias against our opponents this weekend. So Where Was the Agenda at Anfield? So I’m guessing Mr Madley and Stuart Attwell either have refused to be part of any scheme to corrupt?Or maybe they have yet to be asked?Because, again, if they were sent out with orders to sabotage Arsenal, surely they would have given the home team that penalty? So, to clarify, when a decision goes against Arsenal, some will hint at cheating, but when a decision goes in Arsenal’s favour, that’s okay? That sounds like an agenda to me?Dan SmithDo you agree with Dan that Arsenal fans should question refereeing decisions just as strongly when they benefit the Gunners, as they did during the victory at Anfield?Join the conversation in the comments below._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
