Captive Portal is the "website" that shows up when you connecto to wifi in places like Hotels and Coffee places. Usually in the phone, it opens a browser so that you can fill in some info. I've setup a quick HTTP (not S) in my pfSense router, and I wasn't able to see a browser poping up for me. I'm curious what works and what not, I presume that would be REALLY bad to have a handheld and not be able to play in Hotels. So, can the SW2 open the browser when connecting to a Captive Portal? Does anyone ever saw the browser poping up? submitted by /u/piggroll [link] [comments]
