Six Odisha natives held with 53 kg of ganja - The HinduUpdated - September 02, 2026 09:51 pm IST - PALAKKADSix Odisha natives were arrested with 53.453 kg of ganja at Olavakkode near here on Wednesday (September 3, 2026) as part of the State police’s anti-drugs drive.The arrested were identified as Jikhoria Digal, 22; Phurandar Khura, 34; Judhisdi Bibhar, 28; Labanya Khura, 25; Anilkumar Digal, 28; and Khrist Digal, 45. All are from Odisha.The arrests were made by the district anti-narcotics squad and police personnel from Hemambika Nagar station. District police chief A. Abdul Raashi supervised the operations.The police said the accused had brought the ganja from Odisha and were part of a network involved in transporting cannabis to Keralam.
