Rost Martin is expanding its RM1 lineup with the RM1X series, a trio of pistols built around a compact slide paired with a full-size grip. According to the press release, this configuration comes directly from customer feedback, aimed at giving shooters both capacity and concealability in one package. The series launches with three distinct models. The RM1CX Standard is the base configuration, built for everyday carry. The RM1CX Comp adds a compensated slide, which is intended to reduce muzzle rise (shown directly above). The RM1CX Tactical rounds out the lineup with a threaded barrel and taller sights, set up to run with a suppressor or other muzzle device.All three share the same foundation. That means a hammer forged match barrel, fully ambidextrous controls, an optics-ready slide with an RMR plate included, and Rost Martin's grip texture carried over from the rest of the RM1 family. The compact slide and full-size grip combination is meant to strike a balance between control and a package that's still easy to conceal. Chris Toomer, CEO of Rost Martin, framed the release as a direct response to the customer base. "We're here for our customers, every step of the way," Toomer said. "The RM1X series is a testament to our ongoing commitment to quality, reliability, and supporting the next generation of gun owners."California shooters aren't left out of the plan, just not on day one. Rost Martin says California-compliant versions of the RM1CX and RM1CX Comp are coming.
