Federal prosecutors in Minnesota have charged Christian Castro, the ICE agent, with the non-fatal shooting of a Venezuelan migrant after Texas Governor Abbott refused to hand him over to Minnesota authorities.Keith Ellison announced that his office filed a lawsuit against Texas Governor Greg Abbott to force Castro’s extradition.As previously reported, Christian Castro, who was charged in the nonfatal shooting of a Venezuelan migrant, was arrested in Texas in May.Earlier this year, Soros-funded prosecutor Mary Moriarty charged Castro with shooting the Venezuelan migrant she claimed was legally in the United States.Moriarty charged Christian Castro with four counts of second-degree assault and one count of falsely reporting a crime.In January, ICE agents were involved in a shooting in Minneapolis as Governor Walz claimed federal agents are “going door-to-door ordering people to point out where their neighbors of color live.”According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, ICE agents shot a shovel-wielding Venezuelan after he tried to assault federal law enforcement officers.A Venezuelan teen was shot in the leg.Keith Ellison said Texas must extradite Christian Castro.“Christian Castro has been charged with breaking the law in Minnesota,” Ellison said.“He must face justice in Minnesota. Governor Abbott should have granted Governor Walz’s extradition request long ago and is required to do so now,” he said.Governor Abbott went off on Ellison and told him to pound sand.Federal prosecutors are now gunning for Castro after Ellison failed to force Abbott to hand him over to Minnesota authorities.The Associated Press reported:Federal prosecutors have charged a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer with lying to investigators about the events leading up to the shooting of a Venezuelan man during the Minneapolis immigration crackdown earlier this year, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press.The person was not authorized to publicly discuss the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity.
