Abhinandan Varthaman, a former IAF Group Captain known for his valor, has taken to the skies as a pilot at Fly91 since August. Awarded the Vir Chakra in 2021, Varthaman rose to fame after successfully downing an enemy aircraft during a 2019 encounter with Pakistan, following which he endured three days of captivity. His new role promises exciting challenges ahead.
