Revanth Reddy reviewing the progress of the Education Hub in Kodangal constituency on September 4, 2026.The Makthal-Narayanpet-Kodangal Lift Irrigation Project is likely to be completed by October 2028, with the Phase-I works to be over by December 2027 and Phase-II by October 2028, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was informed.Mr. Revanth Reddy chaired a review meeting of the progress of irrigation projects in his Kodangal constituency on Friday. Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of the project and said pump house works were being expedited in accordance with the directions issued at the previous review meeting.The Chief Minister directed officials to invite tenders for Phase-II works at the earliest. He also asked the departments concerned to furnish complete details of the budget required for the project every year so that adequate funds could be provided to accelerate its execution. He also asked them to complete the pending land acquisition works related to the project without delay.Congress MLAs Ramamohan Reddy and Manohar Reddy, senior officials of various departments, district collectors, and senior police officials attended the meeting.Earlier, the CM inspected ongoing works at educational institutions and reviewed major development projects in Kodangal Assembly constituency, directing officials to ensure coordination, quality and timely completion of works.He first inspected the construction of a Government Degree College at Maddur and later visited Gokafasalwad in Doulatabad mandal to oversee the construction of a BC Welfare Residential School. He also inspected the ongoing works of the Government Junior College in town.Mr. Revanth Reddy subsequently reached the Education Hub at Hakimpet, where he inspected various projects, including the Young India Integrated Residential School, Government Medical and Nursing institutions, physiotherapy and paramedical colleges, a 430-bed hospital and other infrastructure.The Chief Minister directed officials to work in coordination on all construction works being undertaken at the Education Hub.
