Commerce minister Piyush Goyal invited global automobile companies to manufacture in India. He urged them to use India as a base to serve global markets. Goyal cautioned automakers about "black sheep" not increasing localisation efforts. He stated that company-wise import and export data is being monitored. Leaders will attend the BRICS Leaders' Summit in India next week.
