Especially when followed up with a gallery opening described as overtly "lavish"! Really telling when it comes to her true priorities and motives for this whole situation. Apparently the art and the artists weren't nearly so important to Ms. Grant as was the chance to display her own egotism and conceit to the opening event's guestlist, who already inhabit the society circles to which she so plainly aspires. Utterly bizarre behaviour given her husband's identity, and the reach/credulity that such would almost automatically grant her. Frankly I don't think she could have shot herself in the foot any harder if she'd actually tried, now she's shown herself to be dishonest in several different ways as well as appallingly cheap. ESPECIALLY when this was apparently her attempting to become/be perceived as part of the super-wealthy Charity-Org set.
