[Addis Standard] Addis Abeba -- Ethiopia's long-awaited National Dialogue Conference, which officially commenced in Addis Abeba on 15 July 2026, concluded on 22 August 2026, following four years of a process marked by significant challenges and fluctuations. The dialogue was structured around eight major thematic pillars, the third of which focused on the federal cities of Addis Abeba and Dire Dawa.
