ISRO successfully launched the 2,367-kg EOS-05 imaging satellite aboard GSLV-F17 from Sriharikota, marking its first success of 2026. The satellite, India’s first dedicated geo-orbit imaging spacecraft, will provide near real-time imagery for agriculture, disaster management and strategic applications. The mission also marked GSLV’s heaviest payload to date.
