Eh, I mean id it's baby items so I get it. Who wants a stainedvn matress for a newborn? And often times you do end up with so much stuff that a lot of it goes unused. Especially like pad, diapers, etc. Like I did give away/donate a oot of stuff that showed no use or was not used. I got BAGS full of nice clothes from friends. I find that a lot of parents support other parents like that. I don't really see a problem asking in a no buy group before buying.
