Bus driver booked, vehicle seized after dispute - The HinduUpdated - September 04, 2026 07:54 pm IST - KOCHIThe Elamakkara police have arrested a 30-year-old bus driver for allegedly engaging in a verbal dispute with fellow motorists after obstructing public road.The arrested is Mansoor Marakkar of Thevakkal, Thrikkakara. He was later let off on bail. The bus he was driving has been seized by the police.The alleged incident occurred near the Edappally Post Office around 2.30 p.m. on Thursday (September 3, 2026). The police registered the case suo motu based on a video of the incident.The accused has been booked under Section 285 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita which deals with danger or obstruction in a public way.
