Prime Minister Robert Abela has said it would be “premature” to comment on Melvin Theuma’s presidential pardon following the acquittal of Yorgen Fenech. Speaking during a press conference, Abela was asked about the pardon granted to Theuma and whether it should now be reconsidered following the outcome of the trial. He added that if an institution has been ordered to investigate a matter, it should be allowed to carry out that work before conclusions are drawn.•
