An 18-year-old jumped off a cliff in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar after his parents refused to buy him an iPhone. His father tried to catch him and fell too, while his mother jumped moments later in grief. All three died despite nearly three hours of rescue efforts by police, villagers and fire brigade teams.
