My rottweiler can open doors and windows lol. Luckily he's more interested in keeping people away from my property rather than doing a runner. There is a beautiful husky in my town who is a frequent escapee. I spent almost an hour one day after work trying to catch him. I saw him strolIing a busy road with no owner in sight and just knew be was on the run. I managed to get him eventually and get in touch with the owner. It turned out that he had been on the run all afternoon and even dog control had failed to catch him. He had escaped out a window that was left open by a flatmate.
