This looks like garbage,” a third wrote.“I wonder how the field will look at night with the lights lower and in different areas,” a fourth questioned.What changes have been made to EverBank Stadium for 2026?While a bulk of the work to transform EverBank will be done next year, with a transparent protective canopy, new seating options and immersive in-bowl tech to come, much has changed already.A change to the stadium lights is immediately noticeable, as they have been moved down to the upper deck from their previous mounted positions.The lights will be eventually be integrated into the roof once the roof structure is complete.Concourses are now much wider, while food and beverage stands have been redesigned with lower prices as the work goes on.EverBank will be transformed into a ‘Stadium of the Future’ for 2028JaguarsEverBank’s iconic spa pools, overlooking the north end zone, are closed this season. They will return with the Stadium of the Future.New entry gates will also greet fans, while other design features inside the stadium will keep spectators shaded while allowing breezes to flow through the bowl.“I can’t come up with anything more dramatic than night and day,” Lamping said of the changes to EverBank, per News4Jax.“People won’t recognize it. You’ll come in, you will have these huge concourses.
