Halloween Horror Nights is already packed with reasons for Universal Orlando fans to spend another night inside Universal Studios Florida. This year, Annual Passholders will have one more experience waiting for them once the screams begin.Universal Orlando Resort is introducing The Keyholder Bar, a limited-entry location created specifically for Universal Orlando Annual and Seasonal Passholders during Halloween Horror Nights 35.Credit: Inside The MagicThe exclusive bar will operate on Halloween Horror Nights event nights from August 28 through November 1, giving eligible Passholders a place to step away from the haunted houses and scare zones while still remaining in the middle of the event. However, simply having a Halloween Horror Nights ticket won’t be enough to get inside.Universal Orlando Passholders Get Their Own HHN BarThe Keyholder Bar is being offered as a Passholder-exclusive experience during Halloween Horror Nights 35. According to details released by Universal Orlando, guests will need to show a valid Universal Orlando Annual or Seasonal Pass before entering.Passholders can find the entrance to the left of the Music Plaza Stage at Universal Studios Florida.Once inside, eligible guests will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive beverages created for the experience. The bar is described as a limited-entry location, meaning Passholders shouldn’t necessarily expect to walk right in whenever they arrive. That could make The Keyholder Bar another popular stop during an already busy Halloween Horror Nights evening, particularly during weekends and other high-demand dates. The experience begins August 28 and continues on event nights through November 1.For Universal Orlando, the addition gives its most frequent visitors another perk tied directly to one of the resort’s biggest events of the year. For Passholders, it also creates another reason to visit Halloween Horror Nights multiple times instead of trying to experience everything in a single evening. And there will certainly be plenty to see this year.Halloween Horror Nights 35 Brings 10 Haunted HousesThe Keyholder Bar is just one piece of a much larger Halloween Horror Nights lineup taking over Universal Studios Florida.Halloween Horror Nights 35 features 10 haunted houses, with Universal combining recognizable franchises with original concepts. This year’s houses include Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, Sinners, Stranger Things, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, Cybergoria, H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!, INVASION: Alien Abduction, MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, and Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness.Credit: Universal Halloween Horror Nights / Inside The MagicThat lineup gives guests plenty to work through over the course of a night, and longtime Halloween Horror Nights fans already know how quickly the hours can disappear.Between waiting for haunted houses, walking through scare zones, stopping for food and drinks, watching entertainment, and revisiting favorite experiences, fitting everything into one visit can be difficult. That’s especially true for anyone who wants to slow down long enough to explore additions such as The Keyholder Bar.Annual Passholders may have a little more flexibility since many attend Halloween Horror Nights more than once during the season. Rather than racing from one house to another, repeat visitors can spread their priorities across several nights and make time for some of the smaller experiences.Jack and Oddfellow Take Over HHN 35Universal is also building this year’s event around a particularly fitting theme.Halloween Horror Nights 35 centers on the “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” bringing Jack and Oddfellow into a central role for the anniversary season. The Infernal Carnival of Nightmares is also the name of a scare zone starring the two characters.Credit: UniversalJack has become one of the most recognizable figures in Halloween Horror Nights history, so his presence during the event’s 35th year should feel familiar to longtime fans. Pairing him with Oddfellow gives Universal another way to connect the anniversary celebration with characters closely associated with HHN’s history. But that isn’t the only area where guests will encounter scares.Other scare zones include FORTNITEMARES, Sideshow of Decay, and Downtown Clowntown. The latter features Art the Clown and the Killer Klowns from Outer Space.Mel’s Die-In: Zombies and Club Horror will also return as street experiences. That combination means guests won’t necessarily escape the action once they leave a haunted house. Much of Universal Studios Florida becomes part of the Halloween Horror Nights experience after dark, with scare actors, themed environments, entertainment, food, and other offerings filling the spaces between the major attractions.HHN 35 Expands Beyond Haunted HousesGuests interested in taking a break from haunted houses will have several entertainment options as well.A Stranger Things lagoon show is part of the Halloween Horror Nights 35 lineup, while Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir serves as this year’s stage show and features sword swallower Auzzy Blood.Universal is also introducing a Hamikuma meet and greet this year. The resort will continue filling Universal Studios Florida with themed food booths and lounges, giving visitors more to explore outside the traditional haunted house experience. That’s where an addition like The Keyholder Bar fits naturally into the larger event.Halloween Horror Nights has increasingly become an entire evening of themed entertainment rather than simply a collection of haunted houses. Food, drinks, merchandise, character appearances, shows, and elaborate scare zones can be just as important to some visitors as the houses themselves. An Annual Passholder-exclusive location adds another layer for Universal’s frequent guests. The Keyholder Bar Gives Passholders Another PerkThe biggest thing for Passholders to remember is that The Keyholder Bar isn’t simply another Halloween Horror Nights drinking location open to everyone.Access requires a valid Universal Orlando Annual or Seasonal Pass, and Universal is specifically describing the location as limited entry. Passholders will want to keep that in mind when planning their night, especially if visiting during a particularly crowded Halloween Horror Nights event. Its location near the Music Plaza Stage should also make it relatively convenient for guests moving around the park.Still, Halloween Horror Nights nights can become hectic. Guests often arrive with a long list of haunted houses they want to experience, and waits for the most popular houses can consume a significant part of an evening.Passholders interested in The Keyholder Bar may want to make it one of their priorities rather than assuming they’ll have time to stop by at the end of the night. The good news is that the experience isn’t disappearing after opening weekend. The Keyholder Bar is scheduled to remain available on Halloween Horror Nights event nights through November 1, giving Passholders plenty of opportunities to check it out throughout the season.Credit: UniversalWith 10 haunted houses, multiple scare zones, live entertainment, themed lounges, specialty food, character experiences, and now a Passholder-exclusive bar, Halloween Horror Nights 35 is giving visitors plenty of reasons to spend more than one evening exploring Universal Studios Florida. For Universal Orlando Annual and Seasonal Passholders, The Keyholder Bar adds something that not every Halloween Horror Nights guest will be able to experience.Just don’t forget that Pass.Without a valid Universal Orlando Annual or Seasonal Pass, the door to this particular Halloween Horror Nights experience won’t be opening. The post Universal Orlando Blocks Regular Halloween Horror Nights Guests From New Exclusive Experience appeared first on Inside the Magic.
